Hello to all our POPPIES TV FUNDRAISER backers, who helped us to achieve our goal.
All our Memorabilia items, including the signed shirts from this season, should now have been delivered, and we hope those of you who bid to watch POPPIES TV coverage during this season enjoyed the broadcasts.
The last of the funds raised to buy new equipment for POPPIES TV has recently been used to buy some new fixed cameras for around the ground, which will give us some different angles for match footage, in addition to the view from our main camera.
The digitisation process is also now tantalisingly close to completion – with only 4 tapes left to transfer at last count at the start of May.
We will hopefully be in possession of the transferred footage very shortly, and we’ll keep you updated here.
Once we have the footage, the first priority will be to get the digital copies out to those of you who bid for them. We will then be able to start the process of uploading the footage to the Poppies TV archive, and letting people enjoy the results.
